Due to significant growth in the Netherlands, WSP Power and Energy wants to strengthen the expertise of our team Secondary Electrical Engineers in Arnhem.
We are looking for a Secondary Electrical Engineer that likes to focus on High Voltage projects. In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation and conviviality.
- Design and implement secondary systems, including protection, control, and SCADA systems for HV substations.
- Prepare technical drawings
- Perform relay setting calculations and coordinate protection schemes
- Integrate and test secondary systems with primary equipment
- Investigating and diagnosing problems and recommending areas for improvement
- Ensuring your work meets all levels and European safety guidelines
Meet your team:
Working within a multi skilled team of 6 Secondary Electrical Engineers this role reports into the Lead engineer. This is a proactive and diverse team that is focused on collaboration and team work. You will be working on some complex high voltage substation projects within the Netherlands and also internationally.
What do we like to see in you?
- HBO/Bachelors degree or a similar qualification within Electrical Engineering
- 8+ Years experience within Secondary Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on High Voltage Substations
- A proactive and solution driven mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team and have a team focused approach to work
