Due to significant commercial growth in this sector, WSP Power and Energy is seeking to enhance the expertise of our Power and Energy team. We are currently looking for an engineer specialized in Pipelines and Cables based in Breda.

In this role you will join a multidisplinary team that embodies our company’s core values: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation and conviviality.

What does your new role look like?

This is a busy and varied role as this department continues to work on mid to large scale projects. Your role will entail:

• Analysis of project applications of work plans and designs
• Calucations and onsite inspections
• Liasing with stakeholders internally and with our external clients.
• Cost estimation and identifying the materials needed
• Designing routes for cables and pipelines.

This is your team

Working within our dynamic Power and Energy team with a wider team of 30. You will be collaborating with several senior colleagues to support on the design and development of complex pipeline projects. It is a proactive and diverse team that is focused on collaboration. You will be working on some interesting projects across the national and European space.

What do we like to see in you?

• You hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering with an interest in Pipelines or Cables
• You hold 3-6 years experience working within a similar role
• You speak Fluent English, Dutch is advantageous
• You are based in the Netherlands with a Valid Work Permit (We cannot offer sponsorship for this role)
• Have a solid technical and analytical skillset
• Experience with AutoCAD and PLE4Win with strong excel skills

1. Phone interview: We start with a phone interview with Talent Acquisition to get to know you better and discuss your experience.
2. Manager Interview: You will meet with our team and the head of department to assess your technical and cultural skills.
3. Interview with the Business Unit Director: You will have a meeting with the Business Unit Director to discuss your potential role and our strategic vision.
